Earlier this year, the Americans for Democratic Action (ADA) Education Fund began a series of monthly Congressional Briefings on Capitol Hill to offer Members of Congress and their staffs, as well as the general public, the liberal perspective on key issues facing our country. This month's Congressional Briefing, held on 10/27/2011 in the US Capitol Visitor Center, examined Social Security. It included an overview of the system, where it stands, and what changes are now being discussed in Congress.
