The Gray Panthers of South Dade sponsor an essay contest each year for the high school students attending the Miami-Dade County Public Schools where students choose from a selection of thought provoking questions prepared by the Gray Panther membership.This year, there were six district winners and one overall winner. The awards were presented in May at our membership meeting.
